Getting Help
Often when we think about our alcohol drinking we swing one of three ways
1. DENIAL We think about it then force ourselves to stop thinking about it...Its too painful to think about so why bring on pain... (emoji)
2. EXUSES We take various reasons and excuses and run them around in our head until they make sense or at least give us a reason to pardon ourselves drinking to much regardless of what our partner or friends say.. what the feck do they know anyway (emoji)
3. ANXIATY We spend a lot of time worrying about where our drinking could lead us as we know of some people whom have lost jobs, marriages and even their lives due to alcohol. W have visions of being homeless with a bottle in a brown paper bag and freezing in the snow.
